South Burlington Community Flower Gardens - Canna South Pacific Flower

South Burlington, VT flower photos

Wheeler Park Community Gardens

Master Gardene Jan, received Canna South Pacific Scarlet F1 (Canna generalis) seeds from All American Selections

Jan started the plants indoors and transplanted them at the Wheeler gardens, assuming they would all produce red flowers. Surprised was she to find a few of them blossomed in a beautiful complementary yellow.

See the Canna display below or visit the Wheeler gardens on Dorset St., South Burlington, VT. The park is open to the public for viewing, free of charge.

The Canna display is one of many species of flowers on display along with the community vegetable gardens.

Notice the cone shaped of one of the flowers.
