Like California, Vermont has sunshine and flowers; you just have to reach higher here.

September in Vermont brings sunshine, flowers, 

and the early to middle stages of fall foliage.

 While the bees continue foraging, I am finding cutting kindling and small logs (with a hand saw) enjoyable, as it is about the doing, and not about the getting it done.

Just spotted a most colorful, beautiful, unique leaf twirling down.
Then I looked up and spotted a whole generation of them.
 Vermont rocks!
