Pruning this lovely tree back to health.

Spring brings out the best in us. 

I swear they moved.

Two weeks ago there was hardly a leaf to be seen.

1. Phlox is a genus of 67 species of perennial and annual plants in the family Polemoniaceae. They are found mostly in North America in diverse habitats from alpine tundra to open woodland and prairie. Some flower in spring, others in summer and fall. Wikipedia

A community has incomplete metamorphosis until it is fed and is truly recognized for its changing form. ~ Bernie

 The wonderful scent of these lilacs drew me and my bike back around for a closer look. 

         

                            Getting your hands dirty is a fun part of gardening.

Well Pooh Bear, we do have to be patient and give the seeds time to grow.
